Contributing to the reduction of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition in targeted communities by making agriculture more productive and sustainable for smallholder farmers through improving access to information, finance and markets for smallholder farmers

Our work aims to address the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss affecting the resilience of local communities in climate-vulnerable environments. The protection of wetlands, water sources, arable land and forests supports ecosystem protection, land regeneration, and climate change adaptation and mitigation 

Our work focuses on increasing access to safe drinking water for vulnerable communities, improving sanitation facilities for households, and enhancing the quality of health services available to communities in the targeted areas. 

LID Agency uses Social Enterprises as a tool for fighting hunger, poverty, land degradation and unemployment affecting most women and youth in assisted communities. 

Our Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) ensures that life-saving and humanitarian support reaches assisted individuals on time, while adhering to a set of humanitarian principles and standard operating procedures.  Our work prioritises building resilience as a key strategy for assisted communities to recover more effectively after any shock.
